Luxembourg Lions Dodgeball Club

The first Dodgeball Club in Luxembourg

What is Dodgeball?

The sports of Dodgeball has become more popular in Europe over the last couple years. Since June 2019, the European Dodgeball Federation (EDF) has been a member of the World Dodgeball Federation (WDBF), participating in worldwide competitions.

Dodgeball is a team sport in which players have to dodge or catch the balls thrown by their opponents whilst attempting to hit their opponents in the same way. The goal of the game is to eliminate all the members of the opposing team by hitting them with balls, or catching the balls thrown at them. Dodgeball is played in teams of six players using five balls.

About Us

We are officially the first Luxembourgish Dodgeball association since February 2024. We got to know Dodgeball during our studies in the Netherlands and the UK. We used to play in the Dutch and English Dodgeball league and some of us even participated in international competitions such as the Western European Championship (WEC). We decided to bring the sport to Luxembourg with us after our studies and start our own association. Since June 2024, we’re also officially a part of the Luxembourgish handball federation.

Besides training sessions and competitions, we will regularly organise social events for our members. Feel free to send us an e-mail if you would like to join us sometime. Everyone aged 16 or over, with or without experience, is welcome.
